Ideas Wanted for Aging Program

The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency’s Aging & Independence Services (AIS) wants to hear from seniors and others in the community about programs to serve older adults throughout the County. As required by the Older Americans Act, AIS establishes goals every four years and develops an area plan. Six public hearings are scheduled in different regions of the County. The dates and locations are:

  • Jan. 15 – 1 to 2:30 p.m., Neighborhood House, 795 S. Boundary St., San Diego 92113 (Google Map)
  • Jan. 21 – 1:30 to 3 p.m., Oceanside Senior Center, 455 Country Club Ln., Oceanside 92054 (Google Map)
  • Jan. 27 – 10:30 a.m. to noon, Balboa Park Club, 2150 Pan American Plaza, SD 92101  (Google Map)
  • Feb. 10 – 1:30 to 3 p.m., San Marcos Senior Center, 111 Richmar Ave., San Marcos 92069  (Google Map)
  • Feb. 11 – 10 a.m. to noon, Kimball Senior Center, 1221 D Ave., National City 91950  (Google Map)
  • Feb. 18 – 1 to 3 p.m., Wells Park Senior Center, 1153 E. Madison, El Cajon 92021  (Google Map)
