More than 125 vehicles of all kinds will be sold to the highest bidder Saturday, when the County of San Diego and several cities auction off surplus property.
The vehicles include BMW police motorcycles, Suzuki four-wheelers, an Essick gas-powered cement mixer with tow hitch, 1995 Honda “Big Red” three-wheeler ATVs, 1988 MCI 50 passenger buses, an ambulance, Crown Victorias, trucks, vans, and more.
You can register to bid and inspect the vehicles on Feb. 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The auction itself starts at 9 a.m. on Feb. 7 at the Fred Grand Arena inside the Ramona Rodeo Grounds, 421 Aqua Lane. (Google Map)
Besides the County, the cities of Coronado, Santee, Encinitas, Lemon Grove, are among those auctioning off vehicles.
The auction is being run by TNT Auction Company, which has a full list of vehicles being auctioned on its Web site.
