County of San Diego voters cast their ballots Tuesday in a special statewide election.
Voters weighed in on six measures proposed by Governor Schwarzenegger and the legislature to change the state budget process. Residents in Coronado also voted to fill a city council vacancy.
“Our office hasn’t gotten a lot of interest from the public leading up to the election, so we are expecting a relatively low turnout, somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 to 30 percent,” County of San Diego Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler said Monday.
