The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters needs about 350 on-call poll workers for the June 3 election, including bilingual workers who speak Spanish, Filipino and Vietnamese.

Almost 15 percent of people who sign up to be poll workers drop out before Election Day. On-call workers would be ready to fill a vacant position if needed and would be paid up to $150.

On-call poll workers must:

  • Be registered to vote
  • Attend a four-hour training class
  • Have their own vehicle
  • Be willing to travel to communities throughout the county

To learn more, call (858) 565-5800, or send an e-mail to pollworker@sdcounty.ca.gov.
