The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters office will be open Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voters who want to cast their ballots before Tuesday’s Direct Primary Election.
“We want to give people every opportunity to cast their ballots, and offering weekend hours may make it easier for some people to vote. Any voter unable to make it to the polls Tuesday can vote at our office or drop off their vote-by-mail ballot,” said County of San Diego Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler.
The Registrar of Voters office is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road, just west of Interstate 15 (Google Map). The public can also get questions answered by phone on Saturday and Sunday by calling the Registrar of Voters at (858) 565-5800.
For those who plan to head to the polls Tuesday, the Registrar’s Web site offers a new “Polling Place Locator” which voters can use to find their designated polling place, including maps and directions. In addition, voters can access their specific ballot choices on the site.
For more information about weekend voting or the Direct Primary Election on June 3, contact the Registrar of Voters at (858) 565-5800, or visit the Registrar’s Web site at www.sdvote.com.
