Hunting for a Harley? Cruising for a Crown Vic? Pining for a Prius?
Those are just a few of the wide variety of vehicles available to the highest bidder Saturday, when the County of San Diego and several other government agencies auction off surplus property.
The 160 vehicles up for sale include dozens of sedans, trucks, vans and SUVs and such unique items a Crestline pontoon boat and a 2001 Southwind motor home.
Interested buyers can preview the vehicles July 16 and 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The auction is Saturday, July 18 at 9 a.m. The preview and auction are at the Fred Grand Arena inside the Ramona Rodeo Grounds, 421 Aqua Lane (Google Map).
Sellers include the County of San Diego, cities of Indo, Coronado, Encinitas, and National City, the North County Transit District, Santa Fe Irrigation District and other local government agencies.
The auction is being run by TNT Auction Company, which has a full list of vehicles being auctioned on its Web site.
