With more families opting to stay in San Diego this summer in favor of “staycations”, the County Department of Parks and Recreation is inviting the public to experience all nine of its County parks.
From now until Dec. 1, visitors can stay two nights at a County park and get the second night free. The promotion is available Tuesday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the unique and beautiful features of all of our County parks,” said Renée Bahl, Director of the County Department of Parks and Recreation.
“We offer more than just a campground; each park offers a variety of programs and activities that are fun, educational, and even relaxing.”
The campgrounds are located throughout San Diego County and offer something for everyone.
