The County of San Diego Registrar of Voters office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday for those who want to vote early or drop off vote-by-mail ballots.
The office is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road, just west of Interstate 15 (Google map).
Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler advises voters who do not need to vote early to wait until Tuesday and go to their designated polling place, where the wait will likely be much shorter.
Over the weekend, a record number of early voters turned out in person. Saturday set a one-day early voting record at the Registrar of Voters with more than 1,800 ballots cast, and Sunday promptly shattered that record with 2,373 ballots.
People can find their designated polling places by using the “Polling Place Locator” on the Registrar’s Web site at www.sdvote.com. Voters can also access their specific ballot options on the site.
For more information about Tuesday’s election, contact the Registrar of Voters at (858) 565-5800 or visit www.sdvote.com.
