Polls will be open in San Diego on Tuesday, November 4 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Your polling place is listed on the back of your sample ballot. If that's not available, you can find your polling place online or call the Registrar of Voters at (858) 565-5800. You can also view a sample ballot online.
Residents are encouraged to vote at their designated polling place. But the Registrar of Voters office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for those who choose to cast their ballots there.
The office is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road, just west of Interstate 15 (Google map).
Registered voters in line at a polling place by 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballots.
Mail Ballots
Mail ballots must be received, not just postmarked, by 8 p.m., so do not mail them on Election Day. Return them to any polling place or the Registrar of Voters office.
Results
The Registrar of Voters will begin providing results when the polls close. They will be posted on www.sdvote.com.
