Due to limited quantity and types of H1N1 vaccine remaining, The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is administering the vaccine only to the following individuals:
1) Pregnant women;
2) Children 2 to 18 years of age without chronic medical conditions;
3) Healthy caregivers (19 to 49 years old) of infants less than six months old.
County Public Health Centers will also resume normal operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Since the vaccine arrived on October 23rd, the County of San Diego has administered more than 23,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine. Additional shipments from the distributor to private providers are expected in the coming weeks. County Public Health Centers will also receive additional doses over the next several months.
