Neighborhoods for Kids, the East Region CWS service delivery model, was awarded the Social Services STARS Award.
Neighborhoods for Kids partnered with schools and other local stakeholders to ensure East County children are surrounded by familiar people and places that encourage them to thrive. The model aligned service delivery “clusters” with high schools and feeder elementary schools. As a result, CWS staff is able to develop working relationships with the schools and the communities where children and families live.
