Nine County Counsel attorneys have received Statewide Recognition Awards from the County Counsels’ Association of California - the largest number of awardees from any of the 58 counties.
Thomas Bunton, Senior Deputy County Counsel, received the Outstanding Appellate Practice Award, which annually honors one attorney in the state for successful litigation of an appealed case that has statewide significance.
Katharine Bird, David Brodie, William Johnson, Deborah McCarthy, Nate Northup, Ellen Pilsecker, Paula Roach and County Counsel John Sansone were also recognized for their accomplishments.
