On September 30, 2013, Phase II of the Waterfront Park project began on the County Administration Center (CAC).
Parking is no longer available in the north parking lot.
Parking is available to the public in the new south parking garage at the CAC. Entrance to the south parking garage is on Ash Street between Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive. Temporary parking permits are no longer being issued to customers at the CAC.
When you are attending Civil Service Commission meetings and/or hearings, you may park in the public parking area in the south parking garage. In the event public parking is full, you may park in metered spaces around the CAC and areas between North Harbor Drive and the San Diego Bay, and along Pacific Highway or at any of the paid parking lots nearby.
Please allow more time to arrive at meetings/hearings while construction is under way. This phase of the project is expected to conclude around May 2014.
If you are attending a Commission meeting/hearing during the construction and are having difficulty finding a parking space, please contact the Commission Office at (619) 531-5751 to let us know of your status.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we anticipate the conclusion of the Waterfront Park project.
