STATEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS
REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SAN DIEGO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 1998
Meeting was called to order at 9:08 a.m.
Present: Directors Greg Cox, Chairman; Pam Slater, Vice Chair; Dianne Jacob; Ron Roberts and Bill Horn; also Thomas J. Pastuszka, Clerk.

Approval of Statement of Proceedings/Minutes for Meeting of July 21, 1998.
ON MOTION of Director Slater, seconded by Director Jacob, the Board of Directors approved the minutes for the meeting of July 21, 1998.

Flood 1. Vacation of Slope, Drainage and Sewer Easements - Rancho Santa Fe
Control (Relates to Board of Supervisors Agenda No. 39 and Sanitation District
District Agenda No. 4)

The Rancho Cielo Development Co. has requested that the County of San Diego, the San Diego County Flood Control District, and the Rancho Cielo Sanitation District vacate portions of the existing easements that encumber its undeveloped property. The Department of Public Works has reviewed and approved the vacations. The owner has granted three new easements through the property. The property owner is paying all costs associated with processing the vacations. The vacations and new easements are necessary for development of the property.
There is no fiscal impact associated with this request.
1. Find, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the State of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the following actions will have a significant effect on the environment.
2. Acting as the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Flood Control District, adopt the Resolution Vacating and Abandoning Drainage Easements encumbering Assessor's Parcel Nos. 265-452-00 and 265-491-00.
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to record the Resolution Vacating and Abandoning Drainage Easements, then lastly record the new Drainage Easement.

ON MOTION of Director Slater, seconded by Director Jacob, the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Flood Control District took action as recommended, on Consent, adopting Resolution No. 98-238, entitled: RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING DRAINAGE EASEMENT.

There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
