MORNING SESSION - Meeting was called to order at 9:18 a.m.

Present: Supervisors Pam Slater, Chairwoman; Dianne Jacob, Vice Chairwoman; Greg Cox; Ron Roberts; and Bill Horn; also Thomas J. Pastuszka, Clerk.

Board Deliberations - Discussion of Budget Proposals

The Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer presented the CAO Change Letter.

Community Enhancement Allocation Recommendation Letters from Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

ACTION:

1BD ON MOTION of Supervisor Jacob, seconded by Supervisor Roberts, the Board of Supervisors tentatively approved the Chief Administrative Officer's Proposed Operational Plan and Change Letter for 1999-00, 2000-01; the Board Member Change Letters; the Community Enhancement Allocations, both Regional and by District, waiving Board Policy B-58 - Funding of the Community Enhancement Program, for 15 organizations; and directed the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer to incorporate all the Change Letters and Community Enhancement Allocation Recommendations into the Final Budget Resolution, and return to the Board on August 3, 1999, for final adoption.
