approved of Statement of Proceedings/Minutes for meeting of November 7,
2001.

REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001 ANNUAL REPORT (DISTRICT:

OVERVIEW: |
|
|
The Annual Report of
Redevelopment Agencies is required to be submitted to the State
Controller for the purpose of providing financial data to the State
Legislature and other interested parties about California redevelopment
agencies and their activities. The report, required by Section
33080.1 of the California Health and Safety Code, must be submitted
to the State Controller within six months following the end of each
redevelopment agency's fiscal year.
The FY 2000-2001 Annual
Report was prepared by the departments of Housing and Community
Development, Planning and Land Use, and Public Works. In addition,
the Annual Report includes financial data compiled by the County
Auditor and Controller, as well as an audit of the County Redevelopment
Agency that was prepared by an independent accounting firm.

RECOMMENDATION:

CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER
1.
Acting as the County of San Diego Redevelopment Agency, accept and
approve the Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Annual Report of the County of
San Diego Redevelopment Agency.
2.
Authorize the Director, Department of Housing and Community Development,
to transmit the Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Annual Report of the County
of San Diego Redevelopment Agency to the State Controller by December
31, 2001.

ACTION:
ON MOTION of Member
Cox, seconded by Member Slater, the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment
Agency took action as recommended, on Consent.
