Jason Farran was born and raised in Malibu, California.
Following graduation in 1996 from Malibu High School, Jason enrolled
at San Diego State University
where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, with a minor
in History. Jason is an alumnus of
the Sigma Pi Fraternity where he was essential in the reestablishment
of the fraternity on the S.D.S.U. campus. He now volunteers as the Chapter Advisor for the fraternity.
Upon graduation in 2000, Jason joined Team Roberts where he has contributed
much to San Diego County's success, helping to make it one of the finest
places in the world to live and work.
Jason proudly serves as Supervisor Roberts' liaison to the communities
of Little Italy, Serra Mesa, College Area, Clairemont,
and Linda Vista.
Jason provides policy advice on issues pertaining to Public Safety, Gang Issues, Disaster Preparedness, Fire, Information Technology,
Libraries, and Animal Services.
Jason also oversees the Supervisor's web site and internship program.
As an Italian-American, Jason currently sits on the Board of Directors
for UNICO; a national Italian-American service organization that grants
scholarship awards, assists with many charities such as Cooley's Anemia
programs, and promotes the Italian culture.
Jason currently resides in the College Area, a community within Supervisor
Roberts’ Fourth District.
