To honor the brave men and women of law enforcement who have died in the line of duty, a special memorial is being built on the southwest lawn of the County Administration Center in downtown San Diego.

The San Diego County Regional Law Enforcement Memorial, as it will be known, will include the names of every police officer, Sheriff's deputy and state and federal law enforcement officer in the San Diego region who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

The memorial is a project of the County of San Diego, the San Diego County Deputy Sheriff's Association, the San Diego County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation and many private donors.
