Update on Impacts of Tribal Economic Development Projects in
San Diego County (April 2003)

This final report, dated April 2003 provides the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors, state and federal agencies and interested parties with new information on the 17 Tribal Governments in the County; an update on the impacts and benefits of tribal projects and the events, negotiations and actions that have taken place since November 1, 2000; new discussion of the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund and Governor’s request of &1.5 billion from gaming Tribes; and enhanced discussion on the compact renegotiations in progress. The comments received on the July 2002 draft of the report are shown in Appendices E – G.
