Complete An Application For Changed Assessment
If you and the County Assessor cannot reach an agreement, you can appeal your assessment to an Assessment Appeals Board. The first step in the process is to fill out an application for changed assessment. Applications and instructions are available at the Clerk of the Board web site and can be obtained in person at the Clerk of the Board at 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 402, San Diego, CA 92101-2471.
