How do I become a County volunteer?

County volunteer programs are department based. Please review the list of departments that have established a volunteer program and call the coordinator of the department in which you are interested to find out about volunteer openings. The department will ask you to fill out the Volunteer Application and participate in a background check.

Board of Supervisors Policy A-130, provides for the establishment of volunteer programs. The Policy outlines the steps that County departments undertake to establish and maintain a volunteer program.
