Tom finishes off our Solana Beach island by packing it full of Mediterranean plants that will thrive in San Diego. Since we’re at the beach, he’s taken great care to plant the island’s one tree where it will not block a neighbor’s view of the ocean. He also added a few drought-tolerant bulbs to give the garden some stunning spring color. As always, a mix of color, form and texture gives the landscape the variety it needs to be interesting.
