Integrated Voice Response System (IVR)
The Department of Child Support Services, in its effort to improve customer service, is pleased to announce the introduction of an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) phone system. The system is voice-driven and will enable you to access automated case and general information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The system will also allow you to request an application for child support services and answer your frequently asked questions.
The phone system will greet you with a menu of choices. Simply listen and speak the menu option you wish.
- If, at any time, you wish to speak to an agent, say “Agent.”
- If, at any time, you with to return to the main menu say “Main Menu.”
- If, at any time, you wish to return to the previous menu, say “Go Back.”
Parents
In order to use the system, you have been assigned a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Have your PIN number handy any time you use the phone system. If you do not have a pin you may access general information or request to speak to an agent.
- If you are the parent with custody of the child, say “Custodial Parent.”
- If you are the parent paying child support, say “Noncustodial Parent.”
- If a court order has already been established, say “Existing.”
- If we are in the process of obtaining a court order, say “New.”
Employers, Attorneys, Child Support Agencies and Other Businesses
- Please say, “Other” and follow the appropriate prompts.
This helps ensure that your call will be answered quickly and routed to the appropriate personnel.
