Online services

The County is making enhancements to our business process and computer systems in Environmental Health (DEH).  In fact, our allied departments (Agriculture, Weights and Measures (AWM), Air Pollution Control District (APCD), Planning and Development Services (PDS), and Public Works (DPW)) are making these same enhancements that will help us provide an even better online experience for you.

On November 26, we plan to launch a new online permit system that will enable you to research permits along with planning and development information through a single web site. This effort is aligned with our commitment to provide transparency and robust online services for you, our customers.

In order to make these changes, some online services you may have used in the past will be temporarily unavailable from close of business on Friday, November 16, 2012, through our normal business opening on Monday, November 26, 2012. As we transition to this new system during the Thanksgiving holiday week, some of our counter services will also be unavailable. Please see the departmental web sites below for more specific information on counter operations.

We will also post helpful online guides and other updates on the respective departmental web sites. As  always, if you have questions or need help accessing our online services, please call us at (858) 505-6700 or e-mail dehinbox@sdcounty.ca.gov.

Thank you again for your continued business with the County of San Diego, and your patience and understanding as we enhance our computer systems to serve you better.
