Interested in Becoming a SAM Project Manager?
The Site Assessment and Mitigation Program (SAM) is accepting resumes in an effort to develop a list of interested and qualified individuals to fill future Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) positions in the Local Oversight Program. In SAM, EHSs work as Project Managers to oversee cleanup and compliance of site assessment cases. Qualified individuals interested in working as a SAM Project Manager should submit a resume to Mike Vernetti via email. SAM may notify interested persons of openings as they become available.
When SAM is actively recruiting for an EHS position, interested persons must complete an application for an EHS I or II (Hazardous Materials Option) at the County of San Diego Human Resources Job Listing web page regardless of prior resume submittal. Applicants must meet the criteria for an EHS position (EHS I or EHS II). The requirements for the EHS position can be reviewed at the County of San Diego, Human Resources Job Description web page. Human Resources will not accept EHS applications unless the County is actively recruiting for this position.
If you have any questions regarding resume submittal, please contact Mike Vernetti via email or by phone at (619) 338-2242.
