When a violation is determined, County staff can either issue a Criminal Citation or an Administrative Citation.
Criminal Citations are heard before a judge.
Administrative Citations can be appealed before a hearing officer. All appeals for Administrative Citations must be completed on the REQUEST FOR APPEAL HEARING FORM. The form must be accompanied by all supporting evidence documentation and all penalty amounts and be submitted within 14 days of the issuance date, which is stated on the front of the Administrative Citation.
