The County Islands Community Plan area consists of three areas: Mira Mesa, Greenwood, and Lincoln Acres. Mira Mesa and Greenwood are surrounded by the City of San Diego and Lincoln Acres is surrounded by National City.
Mira Mesa is occupied by Scripps Miramar Saddlebreds. Greenwood consists of the County of San Diego's jurisdictional boundary of the Greenwood Cemetery. Lincoln Acres is characterized by the La Vista Cemetery and existing residential lots.
