UPCOMING MEETINGS:

General Plan Update Staff

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Devon Muto as Interim Chief and Project Manager over the General Plan Update.  He will be the primary contact for the General Plan Update, including for Community Planning and Sponsor Group Members.  

In addition, the General Plan Update team has experienced some staff changes, updated staff contact information is available on the General Plan Update website.

Upcoming Advisory Group Meetings

A Steering Committee meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 9:00 am.  It will be held in the DPLU Employee Lunchroom, 5201 Ruffin Road, San Diego, CA 92123 (on the east side of the building).  More information can be found here.

An Interest Group Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 10:00 am.  The meeting will be held at the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101 in the Tower 7/ Board Conference Room.  More information can be found here.

Community Meetings

General Plan Update staff will be giving updates to each Community Planning and Sponsor Group from January to April 2008.  The times and dates are located on our Website.

Website Updates

The General Plan Update website has moved to a new address: http://www.co.san-diego.ca.us/cnty/cntydepts/landuse/planning/gpupdate/.

At this new address, our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) as well as staff contacts have also been updated.

Additionally, the Land Use and Environment Group has added two new tools to its website, the Property Profile Mapping Application and the KivaNet Land Information System.  We encourage you to use these public information tools to research land, projects and permits in the County of San Diego.
