MSCP Staff has held several public meetings for interested citizens, community groups, public agencies and Tribal Nations in the East County MSCP Study Area. Meetings that were held to provide an overview of the upcoming plan and the process are as follows:
- Open Forum with Public Agencies (May 3, 2005)
- Community Open House Summary and Presentation (May 25, 2005)
- Descanso Community Planning Group (September 15, 2005)
- Palomar Mountain Planning Organization (October 8, 2005)
- Julian Community Planning Group (October 10, 2005)
- East County Tribal Nations (November 9, 2005)
- Campo/Lake Morena Community Planning Group (November 28, 2005)
MSCP Staff plan to conduct additional meetings once a draft preserve plan is developed. In addition, an environmental impact report/statement will be prepared and undergo public review. To be added to a mailing list to be notified of upcoming events, please email us at mscp@sdcounty.ca.gov.
