Draft NCCP Planning Agreement for East and North County MSCP Plans Available for Public Review.
The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is considering the entry into a Planning Agreement under the Natural Community Conservation Planning Act (NCCPA) (as amended in 2002 by SB107 and SB2052) with the County of San Diego (County) and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
The primary purpose of the Planning Agreement is to define the goals and obligations in the development of the NCCP/HCPs for the unincorporated areas of north and east San Diego County. Among other things, it also provides a preliminary list of the natural communities, and the endangered, threatened, candidate, or other species that are found, or may be found, in those communities, to provide an initial focus of the NCCP/HCPs. Please refer to the links below to review the Notice of Availability and Planning Agreement.
