The Fallbrook Airpark Open House was held April 15 and once again featured a close-up look at Mercy Air (the air evac helicopter); helicopter water drop demonstrations, and static displays of numerous other aircraft parked along the runway, in addition to a T-34 fly-by in the afternoon.
A major attraction of previous years was once again the RC Flyers and their demonstration flights of a wide variety of radio-controlled aircraft - large and small.
The event, as in past years, was free to the public. Many of those who went to the airpark also took advantage of free parking there, enjoyed the attractions, and then rode the shuttle to the Fallbrook Avocado Festival downtown.
The Fallbrook Airpark Open House is an annual event sponsored by County of San Diego Airports.
