 Wastes generated from power / pressure washing are among the many common stormwater pollutants that can degrade water quality. Pressure washing activities generate a variety of wastes. Soap, oil and grease, and other residues can harm aquatic life and degrade water quality. It is illegal to dispose of pressure wash water containing pollutants to the storm drain system!

Use Best Management Practices (BMPs)!
BMPs are techniques or controls used to prevent or reduce the discharge of pollutants, such as oil, antifreeze, and solvents, into the stormwater conveyance system also known as the storm drain system.
