The Emergency Medical Alert Network (EMAN) Web Portal is a key component of preparedness and response to potential public health threats in San Diego County, including acts of bioterrorism. The EMAN Portal provides critical enhancements to the prior e-mail based system, both in terms of security and “real-time” alerting capacity during a public health emergency.
