Concession Stand Lease

Downtown San Diego - Waterfront Park

Address: 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101.  The concession stand is located southeast of the southern entrance to the County Administration Center.

Due Date for Submission: May 9, 2014

Concession Stand Size: Approximate 229 square feet

Proposed Use: To sell select food and drinks to Waterfront Park visitors.

Comments: The County of San Diego is seeking lease proposals from concessionaires for a 229-square-foot concession stand located in the County’s new Waterfront Park.  The selected concessionaire will be allowed to sell pre-packaged food, non-alcoholic drinks, and non-specialty coffee to its patrons.  Respondents may propose expanding the types of foods and drinks offered at the site by including facility modifications in their proposal.  Any proposed improvements are subject to County approval and obtaining the appropriate food permits in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.  Responses are due no later than 5:00 pm Friday, May 9, 2014.  A form of the lease agreement may be obtained by contacting the County at the phone number or email listed below.  A pre-proposal tour will be held on Friday May 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at the site.

Potential concessionaires will need to complete and submit the Proposer Questionnaire Form attached to the Request for Proposals
