THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO IS SOLICITING OFFERS TO LEASE/PURCHASE SPACE IN THE CENTRAL SAN DIEGO AREA

The County of San Diego, Real Estate Services Division is seeking 5,000 to 7,000 square feet of office space and an accompanying 1 to 2 acres of land for parking vehicles. The office and parking site could be on one parcel or a separate site for each, provided they are adjacent or within walking distance of each other.

Area Boundaries:

- East of Interstate 5
- West of La Mesa
- North of Highway 94
- South of Highway 56

Preliminary Criteria:

- Office Space (5,000 to 7,000 square feet) and Yard to Park Vehicles
- 5-10 Year Lease Term, Lease with Purchase Option or Purchase
- October 1, 2008 Commencement Date, at the Latest
- 1 to 2 Useable Acres
- Located Within a Public Transit Corridor and Close to a Transit Stop

The County of San Diego will be represented in the transaction by Cushman & Wakefield. All offers must be in writing and submitted in response to the County?s Request for Proposal (RFP) package. - Parking requirement of up to 400 vehicles
- Central San Diego location
- Approximate required acreage: 7

- 35,000 SF Office
- Kearny Mesa location
- Approximate required acreage: 3

HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY
ADMINISTRATION, TRAINING AND RECORDS
- 12,600 SF Office
- 45,000 SF Warehouse/Record storage (NOTE 1)
- Central San Diego location
- Approximate required acreage: 3

NOTE 1: These requirements can be co-located.

NOTE 2: County would consider purchase of raw land to accommodate these.
