Family-to-Family North is a neighborhood-based model that promotes support systems for biological families and develops local alternative placements for children. It was developed through a community partnership between HHSA, Straight from the Heart (a foster parent resource center), and North County Collaboratives. Its goal is to increase the health and safety of North County residents through community development and organization utilizing a network of residents, service providers, faith communities and government agencies.
