The HIV/AIDS Epidemiology Unit collects, analyzes, and disseminates local HIV and AIDS data to a broad audience. Through timely and accurate surveillance, the unit achieves its goal of providing a foundation for effective community HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment efforts in San Diego County.

HIV/AIDS Reporting Training

The HIV/AIDS Epidemiology unit is available to provide HIV reporting training for Health Care Providers or Laboratory Staff.

The HIV/AIDS Epidemiology unit can provide a free one-hour training, conducted on-site. To schedule a training or for more information, call 619-692-8545 or e-mail the Epidemiology Program.
