QA staff provides technical assistance to the Agency's regional health centers in developing or revising quality management plans.
Facilities where this Service is offered:
Each regional health center provides clinical services for tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV, pregnancy, immunization, and child health. QA staff is available to conduct site visits in order to evaluate the clinic's adherence to quality assurance standards. The region's Public Health Manager will receive a report of the assessment results that can be used as part of their continuous improvement efforts.
QA staff has assisted in utilizing quality management principles to improve health services provided to County residents. All HHSA programs are welcome to request technical assistance in either short-term projects and/or develop quality management plans, all without charge to their programs. We have assisted some clinics with self-imposed audits and provided an analysis of the findings. All information and reports are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
