Contract Related Threading Groups

In HHSA one component of functional threading in contracting is represented by two entities, the Contract Managers Leadership Team (CMLT) and the Contracts Threading Group (CTG).

CMLT is the primary advisory body in the Agency for contract-related policies and processes. It  differs from the Contracts Threading Group in that it is a more focused, higher level forum which provides an opportunity for input on contracts-related policies and standards in the Agency.

CTG is comprised of representatives from each of the Agency’s Regions/Divisions. This threading group is responsible for, but not limited to: Agency-wide information-sharing on contract-related matters; identification, analysis and resolution or elevation of cross-Agency contracting issues; input to the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, County Counsel, Chief Financial Office,  Risk Management and other County departments on proposed changes to standardized County contract-related requirements.
