About CAP

The Community Action Partnership (CAP) is administratively located in the Central Region of the Health and Human Services Agency of the County of San Diego. CAP is the federally designated Community Action Agency and administers the Community Services Block Grant for the San Diego region.

CAP's vision as a Community Action Agency is that:

"Community action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other."

CAP's mission is to empower economically disadvantaged individuals and families to achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency and well-being.
