Amanda Williamson

Amanda Williamson is an exceptional teen in every way - well-read, she has her own blog, great sense of humor, and well let's just say she likes working with younger kids---so much in fact that she has volunteered for the past year helping our Youth Services Librarian, Ms. Sandy Coleman with two back to back storytimes every Wednesday morning @ San Marcos Branch Library.

With over 100 plus hours logged into our Action Teen "A Service Learning Project" program as a "Storytime Assistant" Amanda has become a truly professional storyteller sharing her singing talents, craft ideas and her bubbling personality with our library families.

Because she is homeschooled and is able to give service in the morning, she has provided valuable assistance during each story time and additional craft programs with her contagious enthusiasm. Lately, her singing talents continue to flourish through her participation with various choirs of the San Diego North Coast Singers with which she performs throughout Southern California and she is beginning to attend college courses in fashion illustration.
