I came to the library often as a child. Anytime we were out of school, the library was the place to get books. I loved to read even back then, and the library was a never-ending source of stories. I used it for school research as well, and was always grateful for the resources as well as the invaluable knowledge of the librarians.

Fast-forward forty years. I now teach middle school English. Finding time to read everything I want to read is a challenge. A dear friend loaned me an audio book on CDs about Benjamin Franklin, and thus began my new love affair with the library. I have chanced upon so many stories I would never have read otherwise, and my daily commute is often too short for the stories to which I now listen. Thanks again to the library for filling my life with wonderful books!
