Who can use the Internet?

Customers with a valid SDCL card may use the public internet stations as long as the Internet Policy is followed. Children under the age of 18 must have an Internet Parental Consent Form on file that has been read and signed by the parent or legal guardian and the child. An SDCL internet sticker will then be placed on the child's card. All SDCL branches are also equipped with wireless Internet.

Download our PC Reservation and Timeout Software FAQ for more information.

How do I use the library laptops and Chromebooks?

Download our Public Use Mobile Devices Tip Sheet for more information.

What computer classes are offered?

Some SDCL branches have volunteer computer docents or computer classes. See Computer Classes for more information or ask at your local SDCL branch.
