| Summary: The decedent was a 23-year-old single Hispanic female who resided in an apartment in the city of San Diego with her mother and two siblings. On the afternoon of 02/10/12, the decedent was witnessed to jump off the south side of Balboa Avenue bridge and land in the number two lane of the southbound ISR 805. She was then struck by a private passenger vehicle. 911 was called and police responded to the location along with fire personnel. Upon arrival, the decedent was assessed and death was confirmed.
An examination is tentatively scheduled for 02/10/12. |

She was transported via ambulance to Sharp Memorial Hospital. Despite aggressive medical intervention, death was pronounced shortly after arrival. An examination has yet to be scheduled.

The engineer immediately radioed his dispatch and reported the incident. Responding officers confirmed death due to obvious fatal head trauma. |
