The Family Disaster Plan and Personal Survival Guide was developed by the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services to help families be prepared in the event of a disaster. The Family Disaster Plan is a template and guide that will help you prepare for and survive a disaster.

A Disaster Supplies Kit can
help your family stay safe.
After
a disaster local officials and relief workers will be on the scene, but they
cannot reach everyone immediately.
Basic services such as electricity,
gas, water, and telephones may be cut off. You may have to evacuate at a
moment's notice and take essentials with you.
