Your stay in a Wilderness Cabin
Now you can enjoy your camping experience in a County park and still have some of the comforts of home. It's like tent camping without the tent! Two of our most scenic and popular parks, Lake Morena and William Heise, offer this exciting alternative to tent or RV camping.

For cabins with a spectacular lakeside view, head to Lake Morena County Park.
Each of the ten cabins accommodates six people. Each cabin has four wooden bunk-style beds. Cabins 3-10 have a double and three twin-size singles, and cabins 1 and 2 have four twin-size singles. No water or electricity, but restrooms and water are nearby. Bring a battery-powered lantern and bedding.

William Heise County Park now offers six comfortable year-round cabins
Each cabin has a heater and insulation. Cabins have interior lighting, table and chairs, food pantry, and a large wooden bunk set that can accommodate four people. One small tent is allowed on site. Water and restrooms are nearby. Bring your own bedding and mattress/pad for the bunk. Capacity for each cabin is six people.

Rules and Regulations

Please remember that cooking or open flames in the cabins are strictly prohibited. Barbecues and picnic tables are outside your front door for your convenience.
Sorry, no pets are permitted in or near the cabin area..
All park camping reservation rules apply, including the use of discount cards.
Space does not permit tents or RVs in the cabin area at Lake Morena, and only one small tent is permitted outside the cabin area at Heise.
