Camping Reservation Time Limits:
The earliest you may make a reservation for campsites is one year prior to the first day of your stay.

For online reservations, the latest you may make a reservation for campsites is 24 hours prior to the first day of your stay if sites are available. For same-day reservations, you must call the reservation desk at 877-565-3600, Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Payment is required when you make your reservation. You may pay for your reservation by cash, check, money order, VISA, or MasterCard.

Cancellations: For cancellations, please call 858-565-3600, or if you reside in the County of San Diego, call the county toll-free number, 877-565-3600, Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. If a reservation is cancelled more than 90 days prior to the arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded less the $5 reservation fee and a $5 cancellation fee. If a reservation is cancelled with less than 90 days but more than 30 days prior to the arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded less the $5 reservation fee, the $5 cancellation fee, and the first night's camping fee. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days in advance forfeit all fees.

Transfers: To transfer or reschedule a site, or change your arrival or departure date, there will be a $5 fee. Transfers are only allowed one time, and only in the same park. Transfers or changes cannot be more than 90 days from the original arrival date.

Vouchers: The Parks Department will issue vouchers only to customers paying by cash, check, money order, or travelers check. These vouchers will be valid for one year from the date of issue.

Campsite Occupancy: A reservation will be made and guaranteed for one camping unit and up to eight people per campsite. The Supervising Ranger at the Park will determine each site's capacity for additional camping units and will allow such usage as he/she deems appropriate. Full site fees will be charged for additional units.

A paid reservation entitles the camper to use the site from 2:00 p.m. (check-in) until 1:00 p.m. the following day (check-out). Reserved sites will be held until 1:00 p.m. on the day after the scheduled arrival date. The site will then be given out on a first come, first served basis until the next scheduled reservation for that site.

The minimum stay per reservation is one night. The maximum stay is 21 nights within a 28-day period. After a 21-night stay within a 28-day period, an individual must be out of the park for at least 7 days before another reservation or registration can be made in the same park.

Extra vehicles: The Supervising Ranger at the Park will determine each site's capacity for extra vehicles and allow such usage as space allows and charge an extra vehicle fee of $2 per extra vehicle. An extra vehicle is considered a second motorized vehicle that is not towing or being towed by the main camping unit.

Fee collection: All fees for Reserved Individual Sites and Reserved Group-Youth/Caravan Areas are collected in advance by the Reservation Desk. A non-refundable reservation fee ($5.00) is charged for each individual site reservation.

All fees for Unreserved/First-Come, First-Served Sites are collected by the Ranger at the Park. Fees must be paid prior to check-in time for each night's stay. No reservation fee is charged.

Additional Fees will be collected by the Ranger at the Park for pets, extra vehicles, extra camping units, and boating or fishing fees (see Lake Morena or Lake Jennings).
