Directions:
To the Bird and Butterfly Garden and Staging Area:
I-5 south to Tocayo Avenue, proceed west to the second traffic light, Hollister Street, turn left (south). At the stop sign (Sunset Avenue), you will see the Community Garden on your right, at the southwest corner of the intersection. Proceed through the intersection and over the new bridge. Turn right immediately after the bridge. Parking for the Bird and Butterfly Garden is in front of the Visitor Center. Staging Area parking for trail access is several hundred feet down the road.
To continue to the Ranger Station from the Bird and Butterfly Garden, proceed south on Hollister to Monument Road and turn left/east. The Ranger Station is about a half mile east on Monument on the south side of the road.
To the Ranger Station directly:
I-5 to Dairy Mart Road, turn west. Several hundred feet after Dairy Mart Road becomes Monument Road, the Ranger Station will be on the left / south side of the road.
