Because of it's rich history and worthiness of preservation, Felicita Park is listed to the National Register of Historic Places. Tucked in a small vale in southwest Escondido, Felicita Park is one of San Diego's most diverse gathering places. Year-round spring fed creeks separate the park into a patchwork of natural and developed areas. Nestled under a shroud of ancient oak trees are trails, playgrounds and picnic areas perfect for a birthday party or corporate event. There are also two wedding ceremony areas and a reception tent. Felicita Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its rich Native American and pioneer history. Ranger-led school and interpretive hikes are available by reservation.
