CEQA Consultant Resources

Planning & Development Services maintains a list of individuals authorized to prepare CEQA documents for privately initiated projects. Technical studies and environmental impact reports (EIRs) must be prepared by a consultant on the CEQA Consultant List, unless otherwise prepared by County staff.  Project applicants may select a consultant from the list and directly contract with the selected consultant or may request that the Department contract directly with a consultant for the preparation of CEQA documents.
